How it works

Six stages, in the order they actually happen

Your photographs are looked at before anything is priced, and nothing is agreed until it is written down. The order below is the order it actually happens in, and it is the same order the Terms of Service describe.

  1. 01

    You send the photographs

By email, or by a link to a folder in whatever storage you already use. There is no upload form on this site: files go straight to us rather than through a third service.

What it needs from you The files, and a line about which rooms they are.

  2. 02

We look at what you sent

Every frame is opened before anything is quoted. You are told which ones correct well, which ones are limited by what the camera recorded, and which ones would be better retaken.

What it needs from you Nothing. This is the part that decides whether the rest is worth doing.

  3. 03

    You get a written quotation

It sets out the frames covered, the formats and sizes delivered, the price in pounds sterling, the turnaround and the number of revision rounds included. Nothing is added to that figure afterwards.

What it needs from you A read of it. Ask about anything in it before you accept it, not after.

  4. 04

    You accept, we confirm

Accepting the quotation in writing and receiving our order confirmation is the point at which there is a contract. The confirmation repeats the terms and asks for your consent to start straight away.

What it needs from you Your acceptance in writing, and your answer on starting straight away.

  5. 05

    You pay against the confirmation

By card or bank transfer through the payment provider named in the confirmation. This site takes no payments and never sees a card number.

What it needs from you Payment by the method the confirmation names.

  6. 06

    The finished files arrive

By email or by a download link, in the agreed formats. Your originals come back untouched, and we keep working copies only for the period the confirmation states.

What it needs from you Somewhere to put the files, and a word if anything needs a second look.

The question in the confirmation

Starting straight away, and what it costs you

A consumer buying at a distance has fourteen days to cancel, and starting work inside those fourteen days is your decision rather than ours. The order confirmation asks for it in as many words: whether we should begin at once, and whether you understand what beginning at once does to your right to cancel. Orders placed by a business are not covered by that right, and the confirmation says which of the two an order is.

Say yes and we start. Say nothing, or say no, and we wait until the fourteen days are up before we begin. Either answer is a normal answer and neither costs you anything extra.

The whole of it, including what you get back if you cancel part-way, is set out on Delivery & Refunds.

What comes back

Files, in the shapes you asked for

  • The corrected frames, in the formats and pixel sizes named in the quotation.
  • Your originals, untouched. Every correction is made on a copy, and nothing is written back over a file you sent.
  • A note of anything that could not be corrected as far as you asked, and what would fix it at the camera.
  • Delivery by email or by a download link, whichever suits the size of the set. Nothing is posted; there is nothing physical to post.

Stage one takes you about a minute

Attach what you have, or send a link to the folder it is already in, and say which rooms they are.
